The Idea Of This Project

We have the ability to play your choice of music into different rooms within the building. We have a full analogue sound system installed in our main hall, soon to be updated to a digital system. We also have a lighting bar in the main hall, soon to be equipped with dimmer packs and lighting desk.
Public Address Notifications
Speak to us if you need background music played in the room you are hiring or public address notifications to certain rooms at particular times.
Is The Building Open?
Yes! The building was officially opened on the 21st September 2017 by Carl Sargeant AM, Cabinet Secretary for Communities and Children. It is now available for bookings.
How Accessible And User-Friendly Is The Building?
The building is situated in the centre of Brynmawr, bringing much needed facilities within walking distance for local residents. It is also very easy to find from the Heads of the Valleys road and the M4, and has good parking nearby.
We have strived to make this building friendly and accessible to all. Floors have been levelled and a lift installed. Signage inside the building is in Welsh, English and Braille. There is an accessible WC and also baby changing facility.Find Us
What about the environment?
We have aimed to make this centre as environmentally friendly as possible and have taken advice from The Carbon Trust on the best ways to minimise the centre’s Carbon Footprint. We have installed energy efficient lighting and heating systems and maximised insulation within the building. All toilets will are fitted with a dual flush to minimise water waste. We will also operate recycling of waste and maintain good practise in the running of the centre.
